"So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though
we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore if
anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new
has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through
Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was
reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins
against them."
2 Corintians 5:16-19
To me, this scripture from Paul's writing to the Corinthians sums up the Christmas season: reconciliation. God sent His Son into this world to mend the broken relationship between us and Him. This time of year is a great reminder that Christmas is not just about God sending His Son, but that He has called us to mend our relationships with others as well. God has given us the best example of reconciliation, and we need to follow in His steps, one relationship at a time.
Merry Christmas
